LUMINESCENCE SEPARATOR LSM-50 (scheme)

The separator is meant for obtaining of quartz-feldspar concentrates from pegmatite ore or from granite gravel of a size from 50 to 10 mm. It allows to obtain:

- K-Na and Ca-Na concentrates;
- Products with a given sum of alkali elements (K₂O and Na₂O) and a given ratio of these elements (K₂O/Na₂O).

Work of the separator is performed automatically in accordance to a task, given by an operator. The task is given by a separation border for microcline or plagioclase content in pieces. The design of the separator guarantees full protection of personnel from X-ray radiation and noise.
